How to Pause and Resume Your Program Effectively
This article explains the process for pausing your program and resuming it later.
Pausing Your ProgramYou have the option to take a pause in your program at any time. However, there are important considerations regarding your progress:
- Depending on when you pause the program you may need to restart the module you were working on.
- Alternatively, if the module is complete when you decide to pause then you would return at the start of the next module.
- If you're employed with a partner that offers tuition coverage taking a pause in the program may impact the coverage depending on the partner. We advise discussing any potential impact with your program advisor before finalizing your decision.
- If you're considering pausing your program please connect with your program advisor directly to plan your pause.
- If you pause will be more than 2 months, you may want to take a leave of absence.
- During a leave of absence your payment will be paused and you will not have access to the platform.
To resume your program after a pause:
- Inform your program advisor of your decision to resume.
- The advisor will file the necessary paperwork to facilitate your return.
- You will have 12 months from the date of your leave of absence to return to the program.
